Fikile Dikolomela-Lengene

Nurse Activist | Nurse Clinician . Born as the only child of a Nurse Bella Dikolomela. She hails from Gauteng. Her Primary Schooling began at Lenz Primary School where she also Matriculated. Serving in the SRC for almost most of her schooling years. She started her Nursing Career in 2005 at Baragwanath Nursing School where she obtained a Diploma in General, Midwifery, Community and Psychiatric Nursing. She proceeded to go to North West Potchefstroom to further her Advance Diploma studies in Clinical Nursing Science in 2012. In 2015 she obtained a Degree in Nursing Education and Administration, where her love for Nursing Liberation and Transformation was instilled. She concurrently began activism and comradeship in her local district. That’s where the active propeller Of socialism was embedded.

Mduduzi Ndlovu

Nurse and Social Activist. He was born and bred in Johannesburg Gauteng by an extended family of traditional healers, civil servants and political leaders who molded his socialism. Choosing to ignore his passion for Health Sciences, he attempted several unfulfilling careers before Nursing finally captured him. He currently holds the following qualifications from their respective institutions: National Certificate: Matric with Motor Mechanics N3 - John Per Technical High School National Certificate: Transportation Management - University of Johannesburg ICMS Single Subject Diploma: International Trade & Transport - College for Business & Marine Studies National Diploma: Nursing (General, Midwifery, Psychiatry and Community Nursing) - Ann Lastky Nursing College Mduduzi has been a representative of multiple nursing student college classes, highly active as an ordinary member of his Natalspruit Hospital NEHAWU Branch in the 2010 COSATU National Civil Servants Strike and briefly represented his sub-district NEHAWU Branch at Ekurhuleni Health District - South Region before joining SAPSU-SALIPSWU there during his Community Service 2015. He joined the consciousness of uniting, restoring and empowering Nurses in the monumental 2016 February 15 Nurses March to National Department of Health & South African Nursing Council where the rest of Young Nurses Indaba Trade Union advocacy today become a nursing revolution in South Africa.

Lindiwe Dumalisile

Clinical Nurse Practitioner /Nurse Specialist /Quality Assurance Champion and Nurse Activist. Lindiwe Dumalisile is from Port Elizabeth in Eastern Cape. Married with 3 kids. Is very passionate about the provision of Quality Healthcare to the citizens of this country irrespective of, colour, creed or social standing as a result is a Quality Assurance Champion in her Healthcare Facility. Is also very passionate about economic liberation of downtrodden Healthcare Workers /Practitioners. Trained as Professional Nurse and Midwife at Charlotte Searle Nursing College in Port Elizabeth. Furthered her studies through University of South Africa (UNISA) and attained BA Nursing majors; -Community Nursing Science /PHC -Health Service Management and -Health Science Education. Nurse Activist: She was active in unionization of Public Health Sector and was amongst the few nurses who joined NEHAWU when it was not registered yet, calling for legalization of Trade Unions in Public Health in 1990's. Currently is an active member of YNI TU and a member of National Executive Committee (NEC) Portfolio -Deputy SG

High school attended Ebenezer Majombozi Secondary, Student Nursing at Charlotte Searle Nursing college as Enrolled Nurse 1983_1985.Training as Dental Assistant 1989_1990, Diploma in General Nursing 2001_2003 at Lilitha College PE Diploma in Community Nursing 2005 KZN University. Additionally, studies: Diploma in Labour Relations 2000 ALLENBY COLLEGE, HIV AIDS Management Course for Professional Nurses 2004. Certificate on Primary Eye Care Course 2013 BrienHolden Vision. Registration with Dessa, Diabetic Management for Health Care Professional 2015.Children TB for HealthOnline Course 2015 International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease and WHO Currently doing Degree on Education and Administration with NWU. I am activist in community development 1992 was part of first group Nationally to be trained on National Elections by IDASA before IEC was established I also attended 1 month course on community building in Israel July 1994 post democratic elections. I was involved in workers struggle as a shopsteward since 1996 to date served in various portfolio from regional, provincial and National. I am now serving as National Treasury of vibrant Young Nurses Indaba Trade Union. My strong belief is on Philosophy of Black Consciousness as a way of life attitude of mind.
